Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen and hit Turn Wi-Fi On.

Click the Wi-Fi icon again, then find and click your WiFi network name. If you’re using the default WiFi settings on your modem’s barcode sticker, please note that the WiFi network name may also be called a “SSID”.

Not seeing your WiFi network? Follow our basic WiFi settings guide for 10mates modems. If your modem isn’t from 10mates, you should be able to find help on the manufacturer’s website.

Enter your WiFi password and tick Remember this network, then click Join to connect to the WiFi. Your Mac will remember your password for next time.
